Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to be satisfied with every purchase. Here's exactly how our refund process works.

Overview

My Startup Lab is committed to delivering high-quality educational products. If you are not satisfied with a purchase, this policy explains how and when you can request a refund.

This policy applies to all purchases made on mystartuplab.in, including AI educational courses and CivilsAdda UPSC quiz subscriptions.

To request a refund, email support@mystartuplab.in with your Order ID and reason. We respond within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5–7 business days.

1. AI Educational Courses (₹4,999)

This applies to: AI Coder Course, AI Content Creator Course, and any other AI course priced at ₹4,999.

Refund Eligibility

  • Full refund (100%): Requested within 7 days of purchase AND you have accessed less than 20% of the course content.
  • Partial refund (50%): Requested within 7 days of purchase but you have accessed 20% or more of the course content.
  • No refund: Requests made after 7 days from the date of purchase, regardless of content accessed.

How to Apply

  1. Email support@mystartuplab.in
  2. Subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Order ID]"
  3. Include: Order ID, date of purchase, and your reason for the request.

Processing Time

Once approved, refunds are credited to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

2. AI Study Tools Course (₹999)

Because this is a digital access product with immediate content delivery:

  • Full refund (100%): Requested within 48 hours of purchase.
  • No refund: After 48 hours from the time of purchase.

To request: Email support@mystartuplab.in within 48 hours with your Order ID.

3. CivilsAdda — Pay-Per-Test (₹50)

  • Non-refundable once you have accessed or started the test.
  • Full refund: If you paid for a test but were unable to access it due to a technical error on our platform. In this case, we will process a full refund within 3 business days automatically — no support request needed.

If a technical issue prevented access, but no automatic refund was processed within 3 days, email support@mystartuplab.in with your payment reference number.

4. CivilsAdda — Monthly Subscription (₹199/month)

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
  • No partial refunds for unused days within the current billing cycle.
  • Once cancelled, you will not be charged in the next billing cycle.

To cancel: Log in to your CivilsAdda account and go to Subscription Settings, or email support@mystartuplab.in.

5. CivilsAdda — Annual Subscription (₹999/year)

  • Full refund (100%): Requested within 7 days of your initial annual subscription purchase.
  • Prorated refund: Requested after 7 days — you will receive a refund for the remaining complete months of your subscription period, calculated as ₹999 ÷ 12 × remaining complete months.
  • No refund on annual subscription renewals (subsequent years).

To request: Email support@mystartuplab.in with your Order ID and subscription start date.

6. Failed & Duplicate Transactions

Payment debited but access not granted

If your payment was successfully debited but your course or test access was not activated within 30 minutes, we will automatically reverse the charge within 3 business days. You do not need to raise a support request.

If the reversal has not occurred after 3 business days, please email support@mystartuplab.in with your payment reference number and bank statement showing the debit.

Duplicate charges

If you were charged more than once for the same order, we will refund the duplicate charge in full within 3 business days of identifying the error.

7. How to Request a Refund

All refund requests must be submitted via email:

Include in your email:

  • Order ID or payment reference number
  • Date and amount of purchase
  • Product purchased
  • Reason for refund request

Response time: Within 2 business days

Refund processing: Within 5–7 business days of approval, to your original payment method

8. Chargebacks

We request that you contact us at support@mystartuplab.in before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.

If a chargeback is raised without contacting us first, My Startup Lab reserves the right to suspend or terminate the associated account pending investigation.

9. Exceptions

Refunds will not be provided in the following circumstances:

  • Change of mind after the applicable refund window has passed.
  • Failure to meet course requirements or complete assignments (refund eligibility is based on access, not completion).
  • Technical issues caused by the user's own device, internet connection, or browser.
  • Accounts suspended due to violation of our Terms and Conditions.
